What is the difference between Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+C?

Ctrl+Z = Suspends the current process. i.e. sends the SIGINT signal to that process. For example, if we are editing a file in Vim, this will suspend Vim. Process can be resumed by using the command fg

Ctrl+C = Terminates the current process. i.e. send the SIGTERM signal
